Screening of movie "Gangoobai" at NGMA .

The screening of movie "Gangoobai" followed by a very special conversation between Priya Krishnaswamy, the director of the film and Zenobia Davar, a designer who creates authentic hand embroidered parsi gara saris and bridal wear. She provided the Garas, that are seen in Gangoobai. 

This event was hosted by Ms. Pheroza Godrej along with Godrej India Cultural Lab.

Gangoobai is a film about a Maid in Matheran, who has lived a life with simple aspirations, until one day she finds a new purpose of buying an extremely expensive Gara sari. She follows her dream to the big city of Mumbai and changes the lives of the people she interact with.
